Stinky Airline passengers

February 21, 2010

A new low may just have been reached for weary road warriors: The overwhelmingly smelly passenger.
A man on Jazz Air, a regional airline in Canada that also serves U.S. cities, was reportedly kicked off a plane earlier this month because of his strong body odor.

So its not only the minimum wage passenger service that stinks these days!!!!!

12 year old arrested for writing I Love my Friends

February 18, 2010

(CNN) — There was no profanity, no hate. Just the words, “I love my friends Abby and Faith. Lex was here 2/1/10 :)” scrawled on the classroom desk with a green marker.
Alexa Gonzalez, an outgoing 12-year-old who likes to dance and draw, expected a lecture or maybe detention for her doodles earlier this month. Instead, the principal of the Junior High School in Forest Hills, New York, called police, and the seventh-grader was taken across the street to the police precinct.
Alexa’s hands were cuffed behind her back, and tears gushed as she was escorted from school in front of teachers and — the worst audience of all for a preadolescent girl — her classmates.

If this wasn’t so pathetic it would be funny

New Land Grab

February 18, 2010

Large sections of land some larger than Rhode Island and Delaware combined, are under consideration by the Obama administration to become America’s newest National Monuments — a decision the administration can make unilaterally without local input or congressional approval. This unprecedented land grab and the other befuddling actions by this administration read just like a bad science fiction novel about the beginnings of a totalitarian state. these lands are used by ranchers and other valid users and would be banned from using these lands as they have for decades.
